New book about Győr's elite

On March 5, 2019, Dr. Balázs Varga, associate professor, will talk about his newly published monograph Political Leaders of Győr between 1945 and 1956. Dr Varga, as a historian and sociologist, studied the changes, transformation and composition of the political elite in Győr, his research is based on administrative, judicial, party, local press, autobiographies, recollections and interviews on life.
The book's introductory speech will be made by Dr. Péter Tóth, associate professor of our department.
